I don't agree -- it's just that the homicide bombers get more press. Even with that though, it's Israel who gets the blame.

Hello =)
The reason people from the middle east (who just happen to be Islamic in faith) are radical has much much more to do with socio-economic factors, than it does with their religion.
Unfortunately, their Holy Texts (not really the Q'uran) have a few passages in them that evil men can use to justify their evil intentions, which are really based upon socio-economic factors, to to try and incite the masses, who are not terribly well educated.
When these evil men fail at their promises to elevate their countrymen's status, they point the finger of blame at the West. They claim religious reasons, and scream "Jihad", but all of it is false....it's just sensationalism. Islam is a good religion. A peaceful religion. We need to stop blaming Islam, and start blaming the evil men who abuse it. We know who they are. This Anti-Islamic sentiment needs to stop right now.
As a footnote, please stop separating Catholics from Christians.... Catholics ARE Christians, and you insult them by the separation.
You think there are no radical Jews?? Israel may have the most formidable military force in the Western world, and they use it with a precision that most nations would envy....
It is almost an oxymoron to say "radical hindu" or "radical buddhist".....both teach doctrines of tolerance, patience, and peace as their core. It is only in Buddhist nations like Thailand where you can have "bloodless coups", and business as usual the next day.
Namaste,
--Tom

If that statement was at all true, then I might see where you would have a point.
But since you aren't apart of any religion, and are going off of no knowledge of any of the religions, I won't take your question seriously.
Unless you can prove that ALL muslims are more radical, then don't bother asking.
And there really isn't any point to the question either way. Just because Christians do not kill others in the name of the Lord, does not mean they are not "radical".

Dont bring the Hindus and Buddhist into the Holy War of the Abrahamic religions. Abrahamic religions, of course, want other religions involved so they can have an excuse to condemn them. They (Christians, Judaism and Islam) are beating on a drum in search of fugitives. Be careful.

Youre just looking at the world through a wrong point of view.
There are radicals in EVERY religion.
The Jewish ones think its ok to kill innocent Palestinians for example.
The Christian ones think its okay to crusade into other peoples countries to bring them 'the truth' ..
and the Islamic ones think its okay to fight a war that doesnt even have grounds.
they all pretty much do the same thing .

Constant invasion, occupation, oppression, and colonization by Christian and other countries has radicalized some Muslims. Plus that's what you hear and see on TV all the time.
Let us look at some example conflicts:
Russia occupying Chechniya
India occupying Kashmir
Israel occupying Palestine
Ethiopia occupying Somalia
USA occupying Iraq
USA occupying Afghanistan
Serbia massacering Bosnians
Serbs wanting to occupy Kosovo
Armenians occuying Ngorno karabakh
Chinese occupying Xinxiang (Eastern Turkistan)
Phillipines (with help from USA) occupying Mindanao
The one counter example is Sudan occupying Christian lands.
Sounds pretty one-sided to me!

Nope this is not the case, there are redicals in every religion even more than muslims, but muslims are highlighted more and there is a purpose behind....America and britian forces are there in muslims countries after invasion and there muslims are resisting, ofcourse everyone resist when someone try to abolish their sovereignty and for a purpose muslims are posed as evil and terrorist in from of the world through media so that peoples should not feel sympathies for them and america and their helpers can carry out their 'work' easily in those countries, and they are successful in this , they ahve got a free licence of killing innocents there. but still they are 'Good' but if few muslims resist they would be call evil and bla bla !!

Radical society, = radical religion, now not all muslims are radical, yet it seems that most of them feel as if they need to be crazy to have the message of allah sent to the world.
the sad fact is that the muslim relig is the one that is made from peaceful ideal, it has been twisted by the radicals to suit their political ideals!

What makes you think there are more radical muslims than radical christains, catholics, jews, hindus, buddhists, etc.?
The US has a gigantic population of radical Christians: just because they don't strap bombs to their chests doesn't mean they're not radical.

assuming what u said is true.
it's because the middle east, where some of the muslims live, is under crusades since the beginning of islam .. it's because they are the ones that are mostly oppressed by others.
palestine, iraq, afghanistan , kashmir, bosnia, and more.
