Congratulations!

Try going to various airline websites to get a better idea-I don't know which would be less expensive-it depends on where you are located, how many layovers you're willing to have, what time of year you're going, etc.

You could also try a site like Expedia, or talk to someone at your local AAA office.

Have fun!

Depending on where you are coming from depends on the rate of the flight. For the past few years I traveled from Hawaii to Pensacola, Florida at an average rate of about $800 R/T. I will be traveling to Las Vegas this year and it's about $500 R/T. If I was going to LAX, it would be about $350 R/T.

I would recommend that you go to sites like Yahoo Travel, CheapTickets.com, etc. and research the cheapest prices for airline tickets. Once you find it the cheapest rate, go directly to that airline's website. Sometimes you will find the prices about $100 less than those travel sites and they don't charge you the service fee.

Fares will vary during the year.

Currently I saw Newark to Honolulu for $500. In past weeks West Coast to Hawaii was under $400. However during "ski weeks", spring vacation and early summer, minimum West Coast fares can be as high as $700

Hopefully this will give you an idea. In 2003, my wife and I flew from Cincinatti, OH to Oahu. Round trip - $1055.

It all depends on where from you're flying of. Mileage makes the price, but also, the earlier you book, the better price you'll get.Make sure you check the availability on the different airlines.
