I get really bad ear-ache while jogging or exercising, specially in cold weather. Is this common ?

Is there any way I can prevent this myself, or do I need to see a doctor ?

Yes it is common, cotton balls in your ears works great, or you can listen to music with ear buds in,,, provided you dont have an infection to start with,,Hope this helps

Try stuffing a little cotton in your ears to keep the cold air out, &/or wear earmuffs:) Just make sure you can still hear if you are in an area with traffic.
I get the same thing when it's cold out. I think it's very common and not worthy of spending the $$$ at the Dr. unless your pain continues after you warm up. Mine always goes away as soon as I get warm again.
Good Luck!

try putting some cotton in your ear (or some kind of plug) to keep the cold out. a little sweet oil (u can buy this at about any drug store) in the ear first will also help tremendously.
