hmmm..maybe most...I'm a sophomore and haven't had a boyfriend yet. I have a bunch of friends who are the same way. With us, it's quality guy, not quantity of them. A lot of people can't stand to be without a guy for like a week...I mean, I sometimes like guys, but don't have the courage to flirt...however, probably a little over half the population of 14 year girls...If you are curious because you're that age and haven't had a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, don't be ashamed. Your not alone, and a lot of guys like girls who don't throw themselves at every guy. Although, not being a guy, I can't fully say that.

Many do, but not all. Some aren't interested, and some aren't allowed to date yet.
I didn't have a boyfriend by that time because I was waiting for one particular person to ask me out, and he never did.
I have taught middle school for the past couple of years, and a lot of the girls have had boyfriends. However, from everything I heard and observed, many of the couples had never even kissed--it's very different from dating when you're older.

Not me.
You don't have to have had boyfriends at age 14...I know people that have never been on a date on their life, some not until their 20s. You can date whenever you feel like you're ready to date.

I would say that a lot of girls didn't and if they did i doubt that is was anything serious because they were far from maturity. Plus, a lot of women never even get into serious relationships until around their 18 years of age, so even if they did have a boyfriend it was probably meaningless.

many people have "boyfriends" before 14, the difference is they aren't mature. Their definition of "going out" is hold hands. If you haven't its not a big deal.

14 was my first boy friend...I think it's about 50/50 and depends where you live. Also at 14 I was a freshmen in HS so I think its acceptable but not necessary.

Most but not all. My ex girlfriend was 17 before we got together and I was her first boyfriend. She didn't even know how to kiss.

No way! I didn't date until I was 21. My 16 yr old sister and all of her friends have never been out with anyone.
They may say they do but it's a "im better than you" thing!

i hope not i know that when my little girls gets that age she won't have one,, she is not going to be going on any dates till she is 16and with a chaperon, if she don't like it then well she can have one when she moves out the house. yes i am very protective of my little one and very old fashion about her dating,, i must meet the guy and have a heart to heart, with him once he asks me if he can date her, if he doesn't do this then he will not date my daughter
