Depends on the fruit used and if you put a dressing on it! But come on! Seriously, any calories you inject from fresh fruit are freebies.

This is not a question that can be answered with any degree of accuracy. It depends on the specific ingredients, the amount of those ingredients and the type and amount (if any) of dressing. If you are counting calories, you would benefit from buying a book on basic nutrition. This will be your best source of information.

Note to Louise Smith: Of course there will be calories in a fruit salad. The fact that it is "good and healthy" has no bearing on calorie content. Calories are necessary for life. The only things that don't have calories are water and certain "zero" diet drinks.

One cup of fruit salad in heavy syrup has 186 Kcalories, in juice it has 124Kcals, in light syrup it has 146Kcals, fruit salad packed in water has 73Kcals per cup.

It depends on what's in the salad. If it's just fruit with no sugar added or syrup of any type you can expect it to be about 40 calories for a half cup. If it's sugared or syruped you can double that number. Hope that helps.

There shouldn't be any calories in a fruit salad because it is very good and healthy.
