I want to visit one of these countries this month. I want to enjoy the beach and the sea. Which one is better for such a holiday? Which one is more modern?

Also, do you know how the weather is in Tunisia and Egypt this month? Is the sea cold? I want to swim in the sea.

Hi Samantha? Hi every body !..Happy new year !..
Sorry not to be able to inform you about Egypt.
As far as Tunisia is concerned , I can give you the fallowing tips.
The weather now is considered cold or cool for the locals as it's winter.the average day temperature is between 7°c. & 9°c. in the morning and 14° & 19° in the aft'.It can be coolar at night.
The sun is shining now even if it's the rainy season. You can go to the beach for sun bathing but may be not for swiming.Of course most of the hotels have in door and out door pools where you can sweem.Meantime you can go for 2 or 3 days safari to the desert and the oasis or take one of the optionnal sightseeing tours the see Carthage,or any cultural site.Do some shoping.
As it's considred a low season now the package for Tunisia is a good valu.
I feel obliged to argu with some of our friends bad comment about Tunisia, but what i can assue you is that either Port kantaoui or Yasmine Hammamet, are very nice resorts,The island of Djerba located more south, usually warmer have a specefic charm and character.
Tunisia as a hole is very safe, the people are freindly, the food is varied and you don't have to worry about any contamination.
So it's up to you to decide where will be your next holidays, enjoy your self where ever the destination will be.

I have never been to Egypt but I have been to Tunisia. I went to Port El Kantoui which is the more tourist friendly part. It is beautiful and the beaches are lovely. The locals do tend to harrass quite a bit trying to get you to buy stuff. Quite often they say things are free but then turn round and ask for money. It is very cheap there too for food and stuff. Sorry I can't give you info on Egypt. I would like to go there!!

Ive been to all 3. Tunisia become the worst for me for being hassled, i become grabbed contained in the line and run over by way of technique of a motorcycle with some boys attempting to scouse borrow my bag. Turkey is okay reckoning at the position you go, in spite of the undeniable fact that i'd say Egypt , as long as you're respectful you receives recognize, regardless of the very shown reality that there are often some terrible adult men everywhere you go!

Egypt, might be a good choice, cause you know? The weather changes. If you go to Egypt, well, you'll have lots to visit. I'm not sure but I'd say Egypt. And anyway, if you've been to Mexico, there's 25 degrees MIN, in the beaches, and there's lots of pyramids. But Egypt's worth it (exept for the contamination!).

If you go to either I hope you are travelling with someone else as you will get harrassed quite a bit as a lady on your own dressed in western clothes.

Egypt has the more renowned sites but can be disappointingly frustrating. The Pyramids for example: You can see the Pyramids from a Pizza Hut because of the creeping urbanisation and a taxi driver could well take you there via his uncles carpet shop and then you get harrassed to take a camel ride. . .

Every person I have EVER met that has gone to Tunisia has had food poisoning.

Rock and roll with the punches and you should have a great time!

The sea at this time of the year in both places will not be very warm. The red sea resorts in egypt tend to be of a very high modern standard, with great diving facilities, so egypt may be your best bet.

Both are great. But Egypt is definitely warmer at this time of year especially at the Red sea.
