I have around 1000 calories a day, 15% fat, no saturated fats, walk 5 days a week, and do pilaties at night, and i still gained 5 pounds! WHY??

it cant be muscle, the body fat scale said i have 28% body fat.

It's not the number of calories- it's where they come from. Have you increased your salt intake? If so, it may just be water retention. A healthy dose of vitamin C daily will help eliminate excess h20- or cranberry pills (avail. anywhere they sell vitamins and supplements). Obsessing over your weight is not healthy- love yourself. Also, muscle weighs more than fat. If your clothes still fit- no worries. God bless.

Muscle weighs more than fat so it could be that, also if your on the contraceptive pill then that can make you put on weight.

My cousin first gained weight when she started dieting. But after the 2 weeks her weight is decreasing. So, just workout and you'll be fine.

you might be ganing muscle. Or it could be water weight which is also possible.
