I'm making the theme of my bedroom in oriental style. I picked up 2 really neat oriental umbrellas that look just like the ones you put in your mixed drinks (these that I have are way bigger though). I thought about cutting the stem down on one and attatching it to the light on the ceiling so the light shines through it. But I'm wondering if anyone here has any other ideas for the additional umbrella that is left over? any thoughts would be much appreciated...thanks!

Make it a table lampshade. Remove handle and put in a frame and hang as art work.

also cut off handle and hang on wall above headboard. is another good place. They look beautiful.
