I worked at a packing plant where they stressed hot and cold soaks and reduced work load. I thought I had it and after quiting I noticed all aymptoms are gone. As carpal tunnel is a repeative injury the best way to avoid it is change the way you do what you are doing that is causing the problem. Note there are other problems that have the same symptoms.

There are these hand exercises that help. Take the hand that is bothering you and pull it back as if you r trying 2 touch your fingernails to your shoulder. (its kinda hard to tell u this without showing u), but i'll try. See, when we sleep, we unconciously bend our wrists forward kinda like in the fetal position and that is what causes the numbness and tingling at night, I got a brace to wear at night and it works wonders, hope u can get one as well. Dont let it go to far or it will be inoperable.

Good luck
