I tried connecting the HDMI cable to the Vizio L32HDTV and it seems like the connector bent a few of the pins within the HDMI cable.

Has anyone seen this happen?

If so, is the HDMI cable useless now?

Also, How did this happen?

Is there something wrong with this television HDMI connector?

Make sure it's a HDMI input and make sure the pins line up with the holes. Take some thin pliers and try and straighten the pins.

You are using the wrong cable. HDMI pins on the cable are inside a cover, you can't bent it. The only pins you can bent is in the HDMI port on your TV.
