I was checking my mail one day and this girl sent me a mail about a question of hers that I had answered. Anyway, we started talking and sending messages back and forth and I figured out that she was so much like me; we share so many common interests and qualities; we are around the same age, and mostly everything about us is similar?
Love is so confusing...I have never met this girl before and I have grown to like her so much and I can't stop thinking about her!
How can I think about her less?

For starters, start thinking about the DOWN side of online relationships. I've been in a couple, so allow me to help:
1. People are COMPLETELY different in real life than online. It's not always a conscious deception; it's just impossible to communicate the hundreds of mannerisms you take for granted every day, and any one of those could drive you up the wall.
2. The distance. You want to wait months or even years before seeing someone you're desperately pining away for? The pain is horrible, and it only gets worse as time goes on until it eventually tears you apart.
3. You'll end up spending a lot of time on someone you'll most likely never meet. Wouldn't you rather go out and enjoy your hobbies or seek out some women nearby?

been there completed that... superb suggestion, do what you may to recover from her. you would be suprised by applying what proportion women folk you have issues in uncomplicated with. that's different from she's the only one that likes the comparable video clips and video games as you. overlook her, and seek for somebody you recognize in actual existence. its plenty greater healthy, and lots greater sensible. plus she has a bf, what are the possibilities of her leaving him, to this factor somebody she met on xbl.

i understand how u feel. unless u made it a point to meet her face to face and take things slowly without revealing your desire for her no matter how sincere u are, u stand a greater chance. don't email, sms, post your heartfelt desire to her, u might scare her off. one netfriend last nite told me gals even though as friend may have feelings for u. for me i like to top it up, go slow and if she is keen u stand a higher chance when she create opportunties for u. but don't think too much ok.

Why would you want to stop thinking about her? Do what I do..... use the good you feel when you think about that person to modivate yourself to be the best you can be.
For example go to the gym and as you lift the free weights think that she is watching you in spirit. It will make you want to be the best you can be.

one y would u want to think about her less. i mean if she makes u happy thats a good thing. if she lives to far away then just be friends with her online. i mean if ur meant to be then something will happen. it may be hard to just stop liking her and move on but if shes to far away then ur kinda waisting ur time. im sure ull find somebody else who is like her, but again if ur meant to be then you will just give it time.

same happened to me except it turned out to be my best friends cousin if u ask me a littl wierd but now we are dating and yes i agree with u LOVE IT SO CONFUSING and u may not be able to get over her only time and yourself can tell
