I'm Icelandic, so I speak it. It's not a very widespread language though. It's only spoken by roughly 300,000 people in the world. It's nice that you're interested in it though. May I ask how you became interested in learning Icelandic?

You must have time on your hands to learn a language spoken by only some 300,000 souls worldwide; unless, of course, you have an interest in the Old Norse Sagas.
