Whenever I right click or try to delete something, Explorer will freeze for a good minute or so, the hourglass will appear when the pointer is inside the explorer box, but when I move it away, I can just do whatever I want. After about a minute, the delete confirmation box will pop up, or if I had right clicked, then the right click menu will pop up. Why does it take so long to do so?

Also: I tried booting in safe mode and it worked just fine. Then I went back to normal and it didn't work again. Can someone tell me how to reach the source of the problem maybe?

Hello,
The exact same thing started happening to my computer a few days ago.
The answer posted here says, 'Delete that version and install another version.'
What does that mean? Install another version of Windows?
There must be some explanation for this happening with a cause that can be fixed rather than just reinstalling everything.
That seems to be the answer for every windows problem... 'Reboot. If that doesn't work then Re-install Windows.'

Can anybody help us?
Thanks
David
