I highly suggest that you do not give a dog 'tussin'. A 'tussin' question causes me to believe that your dog has a chronic cough.

A chronic cough (2 or more days) in a dog can mean that they have a lung infection or disease. It can also mean that the dog either has parasites (such as heartworm), a congestive heart problem, or an inherited lung problem.

VERY few human drugs can be given to dogs. Please consult your vet. Most 'tussins' come with a drug called 'pseudoephedrine' which in human doses, will give your dog a dangerously fast heartbeat.

Not sure what tussin is, but if it is meant for humans - NO. Never give an animal drugs intended for humans - see your vet!
