their eyes sre still closed, and my dad said that we could hold them, I held one and got yelled at by my sister.

It is fine to hold the puppies! You should handle them several times if not more a day. You don't need a towel they need to get used to this handling. Touch them all over, ears feet mouths and put them on their backs.

I think if there eyes still haven't opened hold them in a very soft towel
but i think when there eyes are opened and fur has grown you can hold them bear. O and don't listen to your sister they can be mean only listen to your parents i do that most of the time!just if you were wondering!

As long as it doesn't seem to stress out the mother, and you are VERY gentle and careful, there is no reason why you can't hold them with your bare hands, but not for a long time, and not very often so as not to interupt thier feeding and sleeping schedule.

you should hold them without using a towell so they get used to human touch. As they get older, you should give them more attention.
