Its very disrespectful of the person that you are allegedly interested in to take a call in front of them. Taking one from your ex, or even just letting it ring over and over sends out a bad message to the next possible Mr. Right. If you wanted to date the new person that much, turning off your cell phone would show that you wanted to spend that time with them, not dealing with whatever comes through the speaker after your Top 40 ringtone.
