I just dont get it. How can you believe your God is the right one when there is so many other religions saying that their God is right? And why is there so many rules in a religion? Why cant any God just let us be happy as long as we are not hurting ourselves or others?Example: Why do Muslim women have to cover their whole bodies especially in the middle east its hot out there. But like why so other guys dont look? Guys look just the same, so if the Muslim women was to make eyes for him that would be her fault. But if a Muslim woman deals with only herself and doesnt flirt or make trouble why cant she show a little skin?
I find it hard to believe in a God anymore, because there is so much controversy over each religion, and it get so confusing. I dont know, I guess I am just a lost soul now.

In the beginning there was one God, the True God, then one of his angels challenged his sovereignty to rule over man and because of this he was judged to die. Also at the meantime that angel, now known as Satan, was given a chance to prove how he would do if he is ruler over man. What he did is as you see, a chaotic, deceitful, cruel, hateful world.

In the process he only wants all people to die that they may never know the True God, he created many other religions to bring confusion, and that is really effective as I see in your case. =)

But God's true religion is still there, look for the one whom Jesus spoke of: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Believe it or not,its the only religion whose members wont participate in wars!

There is only ONE true God Jehovah and a bunch of false gods.
religion "per se" is of very little importance.
what is important is YOUR personal relationship with the Lord God Jesus Christ.
don't get hung up on "religion".
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

You are saying that why can't God leave us alone to be happy, but restrict what makes us happy. Isn't that a contradiction?

Actually, God's rules are simple. Learn his word, preach his word, and teach other to preach and teach. Imagine what the world would be like if that is what we lived by? But, currently churches teach that only one person should preach and perhaps teach, and that they should get paid handsomely for it.

Sometimes, in the midst of chaos about religion, I seek shelter on the atheists. Maybe you should do too... just for the sake of the sanity that permits. But always keep faith, there is God.

You need to develop your own religious beliefs, not try to find a slot with an organized "religion".

You're not lost. You're finally found out that religion is an excuse to be nasty while pretending to be ohhhh so nice, and you don't like it.

You have reached the stage in "non-faith" in which the truth is far more evident to you than possible before. Welcome to atheism.
