To cut a long story short, at college, after having known this girl for a few months, I asked if we could meet up during the easter holidays she said smiled and said yes, i then send her a text telling her i would call her that weekend. The next day she replies and says thought about it, and will be too busy Sorry!
Back at college I ask "whats wrong?". She replies a little agressively "I told you im busy". I then suggest another time, and she says "whats the point... we have nothing in commn anyway"

It sounds as if she has changed her mind. Judging by her aggressiveness she is not very mature in handling these types of situations. That, or she has heard something, or you have said something that may have upset her and she is not willing to talk about it.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound like she's interested right now. Definitely not in any type of dating relationship. If I were you I would back off for now on asking to hang out, but try to keep up just the short casual conversations. Chances are you'll end up with some classes with her or see her at some parties so if you make it seem like you're just interested in being friends she'll probably respond to that. It may be that she'll never be interested in dating but right now it's pretty obvious she isn't.

Many times when a girl is caught off-guard she tries to be nice by saying 'yes' because it's hard to say no to someone's face. Now she's trying to back out because she really didn't want to in the first place. Find a girl who is interested in getting to know you and leave the one you've pursued stuck with her nose in the air.

hey get out of TV-LAND. everyone gets put down even the most pop or handsome guys or girls. if you or in the dating business you can't take things personal... And what were the expectation., say another guy told her he was going to take her to a movie and a candle light dinner, and all you wanted to do was hold hands and look at barnie fife, in this world people hate loosers.

maybe she just got scared of being in a realtionship or found another guy...... she could have not felt comfortable with you yet and maybe you asked her to soon
