Basically, it comes down to different prophets.

the ameliorations between the former testomony and the Holy Quran are. a million: Bible says jesus peace be upon him is son of god - Quran says he's a Prophet 2: The chrisitans interpret the bible to assert jesus is son of god yet infact no the position does it make one of those declare till doctered and falsified which brings me to point 3 3: The bible has many diverse variations and alteration, the Holy Quran has no longer replaced by way of even one letter on account that its revelation. 4: christianity does no longer recognize the Prophet Mohammed peace be unto him as a Prophet, the seal of prophets , the basically accurate prophet, or maybe as chrisitanty dispute about messengers, the Quran makes no distinction between messengers they're all equivalent muslims do no longer make one messenger more effective significant than an different and muslims settle for each of the prophets and that the bible and torah are scriptures from god (it truly is reported in Quran) 5: christians pray to jesus and call him god, they do no longer pray on to god they pray by way of jesus and say in consumer-friendly words jesus can forgive sins, the position as muslims are urged by way of the Quran to take NO better 0.5 with god and worship god on my own and in consumer-friendly words god can forgive sins, not one of the Prophets had ability to forgive adult men on account that they were basically adult men themselves. This turned right into a very consumer-friendly answer desire that responded your question . see link for more effective options and click on i'm a non muslim wishing to undertsand Islam more effective.

Not much really.

But the time frame and the person it was revealed to was different.

One was revealed to Jesus and another to Muhammad.

Both advocate belief in One God and worshipping Him alone.

Both advocate the usage of free will and common sense.

and a lot of other similar details which have causes people to think that the Quran is actually a very bad copy of the Bible..

but theyre just not aware of the fact that God specifically says: He was the one that sent both books...like He did before Jesus, with Moses and Abraham and over and over the message is the same: Wake up. Stop worshipping false idols: your own ego..your money...statues etc. and worship Me the One True God.

Case ends.

Edit: I also need to remind my sister in faith here: muslimah, that her response is an ignorant one. The Bible is not a bunch of lies as it is. Its just that the original script has been heavily edited upon by years and years of power hungry leaders who wanted nothing more than to bring pagan beliefs into the clean religion.

Pagans believe in supernatural forces in humans..whereas God very clearly says, that any kind of talent He has bestowed upon us, is nothing more than His request and His control. Therefore, Jesus and every other prophets superhuman talents were merely Gods doing through their pure existence. Not really a sign that they were gods.

The same could be said of all prophets, Moses being one, the splitting of the sea happend by Gods grace, it didnt mean that Moses was the son of God.

not very much as far as I can tell. There are people who misinterpret both for their own gain. Nothing in the Qur'an seems to be added to what the Bible says. If Arabs were not so haughty the Qur'an would be accepted more than it is and be perhaps used as a supplementary text which tells how early church leaders attempted to pervert the truth, however since to one who studys that attemt failed it does not make much differance.

Everything!

The Bible was dictated by THE GOD, written down by men

The Quaran was dictated by an unknown entity (Mo's wife claimed it was the Catholic Michael) and teaches SUBMISSION and, unless interpreted by an Imam, DEATH and KILLING.

The Christian Bible is God's Word, His TRUTH.
The qur'an is a lie, developed by the forces of Satan to decieve.

For starters, it's al-Quran, not Quaran.

The revelation of the books of the bible is not a direct revelation, since the books of the bible were authored by various people whereas the holy Quran is revealed directly to the Prophet (peace be upon him) through Archangel Gabriel.

Imam Ibnu Kathir (God be pleased with him) writes in his masterpiece, Tafseer Ibnu Kathir:

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah (The God)

Here Allah tells us about the Book which He revealed to His servant and Messenger Muhammad.

(And truly, this) refers to the Qur'an, which at the beginning of the Surah was described as

(and never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Gracious...) (26:5).

(is a revelation from the Lord of Al-`Alamin.) means, Allah has sent it down to you and revealed it to you.

(Which the trustworthy Ruh has brought down.) This refers to Jibril (Gabriel), peace be upon him. This was the view of more than one of the Salaf: Ibn `Abbas, Muhammad bin Ka`b, Qatadah, `Atiyyah Al-`Awfi, As-Suddi, Ad-Dahhak, Az-Zuhri and Ibn Jurayj. This is an issue concerning which there is no dispute. Az-Zuhri said, "This is like the Ayah:

[قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُ نَزَّلَهُ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ]

(Say: "Whoever is an enemy to Jibril -- for indeed he has brought it down to your heart by Allah's permission, confirming what came before it...'') (2:97).

(Upon your heart) `O Muhammad, free from any contamination, with nothing added or taken away.'

(that you may be of the warners,) means, `so that you may warn people with it of the punishment of Allah for those who go against it and disbelieve in it, and so that you may give glad tidings with it to the believers who follow it.'

(In the plain Arabic language.) meaning, `this Qur'an which We have revealed to you, We have revealed in perfect and eloquent Arabic, so that it may be quite clear, leaving no room for excuses and establishing clear proof, showing the straight path.'

(196. And verily, it is in the Zubur of the former people.) (197. Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars of the Children of Israel knew it) (198. And if We had revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs,) (199. And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it.)

The Qur'an was brought down by Jibril, not Shaytan (Devil)

Allah tells us about His Book, which falsehood cannot approach from before or behind it, sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise. He states that it has been brought down by the trustworthy Ruh (i.e., Jibril) who is helped by Allah,

(And it is not the Shayatin who have brought it down.) Then He tells us that it could not be the case for three reasons that the Shayatin brought it down. One is that it would not suit them, i.e., they have no desire to do so and they do not want to, because their nature is to corrupt and misguide people, but this contains words enjoining what is right and forbidding what is evil, and light, guidance and mighty proofs. There is a big difference between this and the Shayatin, Allah says:

[وَمَا يَنبَغِى لَهُمْ]

(Neither would it suit them)

(nor are they able.) meaning, even if they wanted to, they could not do it. Allah says:

(Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rent asunder by the fear of Allah) (59:21). Then Allah explains that even if they wanted to and were able to bear it and convey it, they still would not be able to achieve that, because they were prevented from hearing the Qur'an when it was brought down, for the heavens were filled with guardians and shooting stars at the time when the Qur'an was being revealed to the Messenger of Allah , so none of the Shayatin could hear even one letter of it, lest there be any confusion in the matter. This is a part of Allah's mercy towards His servants, protection of His Laws, and support for His Book and His Messenger . Allah says:

(Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it.) This is like what Allah tells us about the Jinn:

[وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَـهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَساً شَدِيداً وَشُهُباً - وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَـعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ الاٌّنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَاباً رَّصَداً ]

(And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.) until;

(or whether their Lord intends for them a right path) [72:8-10].

God knows best.

Peace and Love

While in London England in January 2006, I stayed at a breakfast & bed near Victoria Station. The hotel was run by those of the Islamic Faith! I had a good conversation with a very knowledgeable about Christianity. He claimed that Islam and Christianity were ‘Almost Brothers’ sharing the Faith of Abraham!

After listening to his “Explanation of the Islamic – Faith by Works” I them told him of the Christian Gospel. The “The ONE TIME PAYMENT FOR ALL SIN” by Christ Jesus on the Cross, in His statement on the Cross. YES, “The FINISHED WORK” of Christ, could not be ‘added Upon!’ by “Any Works” and that Salvation was “By GRACE – THROUGH FAITH” in that Finished Work!

I explained Ephesians 2:8-to-10. That FAITH in Christ’s Finished Work: Brings Salvation, and “Then - COME THE WORKS DONE IN FAITH!” As verse 10 states, the Works FOLLOW the Real Biblical Faith!

Belief - in Jesus: Must be done According to John 7:38 - for as Christ said there is another way in John 10:1-to-18 that was the Wrong Way! The WORD speaks to the same in Proverbs 14:12 & 16:25.

Then I explained GRACE! This Biblical Concept “Is FOREIGN” to the Islamic Mind! The example I used went like this. In London England, the cost of living is as Expensive as New York City! You own a car, and have it parked on the street. You use it to get to Work and in Business “Each and Every DAY! Someone, Crashed into Your CAR – And you go outside – And TELL HIM – “YOU ARE FORGIVEN!” You may leave, and go about your business, I will not call the Police, and “I WILL ABSORB – THE LOSS AND THE COST – OF MY CAR!”

That is a Word Picture of the Grace of God! JESUS TOOK OUR SIN, on the Cross-, and THAT WAS THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST – IN TOTAL PAYMENT FOR US! We can do Nothing MORE! He Adsorbed the LOSS, THAT WE MAY BE SET FREE FROM THE PENALTY AND THE DEATH OF SIN!

(Ephesians 2:8-9-10) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(Eph 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Eph 2:10) For we are His Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

(2Corinthians 5:17-to-21) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(2Co 5:18) And all things are of God, Who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(2Co 5:19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us The Word of reconciliation.
(2Co 5:20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, Be You Reconciled to God.
(2Co 5:21) For HE [GOD] hath made Him [JESUS] to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him [JESUS].

(Titus 3:3-to-8) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
(Tit 3:4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
(Tit 3:5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His Mercy - He saved us, - By the Washing of Regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
(Tit 3:6) Which He [GOD] shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
(Tit 3:7) That being justified by His Grace, we should be made Heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Tit 3:8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

(2Corinthians 3:5) Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; - But our sufficiency - Is Of GOD;

(Galatians 3:2-3) This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
(Gal 3:3) Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

ISLAM is Only A WORKS RELIGION!

Thanks, RR
