You can judge people on their material possessions if you wish but it won't give you a great deal of insight into them as a person. Some people hide behind what they own or use their belongings to project an image they want others to see rather than what they are really like. I think it is best to get to know them as a person, possessions can be misleading

You ask 2 different questions - 'Are you just an object' and 'are you to be judged by your possessions'

We are all objects.

You can tell alot from a persons possessions and the things they choose to surround themselves with. It would probably be a more accurate indicator of their true self than most other methods.

Even objects can have 'sentimental value'. Even if you regard people as objects, their personality and opinions are just as much a part of them as their body. Their material possessions are NOT part of them, the possessions are merely owned by them.

No, and that's fine with me as long as you acknowledge the brain or mind, and personality are some of those material possesions.

Because of the man behind the material possession is the man to consider, and your respect should be reserved just like I reserved my judgement on you on how you will judge them.

You can judge people however you like according to your perceptions. People do it all the time, however I'm not "AN" object... I'm a conglomeration of a bunch of things, and labels, depending on who perceives me and I'm constantly changing.
