hi there - we just did this in September (we're based in London). Just turn up at the Marriage Licence Bureau with your passports and $55 cash and you'll get your licence on the spot.

You're then free to get married in any of the 70+ chapels in Vegas. The minister carrying out your wedding has 10 days to register your wedding with the Clark County Recorder, and you can send $10 to them to get a copy of your official wedding certificate. That said, you're legally married once the wedding has happened.

Have fun - and good luck!

only thing you need is a marriage liscence from the state of nevada. You can get this at thier courthouse.. They have changed thier hours so check in with them. Once you have the liscence and are married by a legel minister or representitive of the state you are legel everywhere,,,,,,, make sure you get the liscence or it is all just a show...

you will need to be resident for a few days or more beforehand (check how many can't remember!)

Then you will need to get you're licence, if you live in the uk you don't need to do anything when you get back you don't have to register it.

Good luck to you both!!!!!!! (i am from the uk too)
