Sounds like you just said it. You must like him because you are concerned about his feelings and I applaud you for that. Many girls wouldn't do that. Just tell him that you really like him, but the chemistry you need for a boyfriend just isn't there. Tell him that it isn't his fault, and its isn't your fault. People can't help what is in their heart or how they feel.
Do it privately and then give him a hug. Tell him that his friendship is very important to you and you don't want to lose that.

Rejection is never nice, but sometimes it's a necessity. Just tell him what you said here... there's no chemistry. The worse thing you could do to him is drag it out and NOT tell him.

You could tell him that you're not interested in dating anyone at the moment but you would still like to go out together BUT go dutch so he doesn't get the impression that it is a date.
Don't say "I just want to be friends". I think that is so over used and I feel it hurts a person more than just saying "I'm not interested in you".
You could also say what you mentioned in your post. "I just don't feel any chemistry between us".
And who knows...if you do go out as just friends, you may change your mind over time.

Gee, and here I was thinking girl's were natural experts at this.
The simplest way is to lie and say that you already like someone, or already have a boyfriend. Guys tend to think that's a valid excuse for getting rejected.
If you'd rather be honest, just tell him you don't see him as any more than a friend.

There is no such thing as reject nicely. Sometimes they just don't get it. I tried avoid them. End up telling them I am seeing someone when I actually not. That seems to work.

im a nice guy but i dnt like to anticipate about something i might not have in the future..so as soon as you can, just tell him. for me i like it better if a girl is a brutal, yet honest person. so it hurts at that moment, but will be forgotten faster.

Its okay if you dont feel the same way about him, just tell him that you dont think your IN to him that way,but as good friends. And thats good that you think he's nice. Maybe later on in life you might start to feel the same way,by getting to know him! But its okay if you dont like him tallk to him about that, maybe he'll accept it as JUST friends. Good Luck!

Just tell him that you want to remain friend, but you don't feel anything for him romantically. Rejection is always hard to swallow, and there is NO easy way to sugar coat it.

Give it some time maybe it will come later in the relationship. Not all relationships start out with shooting stars and such.

that's a complicated one, yet honesty is many times terrific. merely properly tell them that the actual touch is making you uncomfortable, and which you do no longer desire to furnish them the incorrect effect. confer with them as pals so as that they do no longer experience thoroughly embarrassed or 'brushed aside' - yet you are able to desire to make it clean which you're no longer fascinated as quickly because it happens. in the event that they do no longer pay attention to you, or shop attempting - or you do no longer experience useful adequate to declare something to them - attempt chatting with a pal in inner maximum. they are going to have your back.
