ive had it since i was like 5 and now im 14

if its one spot and it doesn't seem to be getting any larger than it could be a birth mark and there may not be anything you can do about it. The other possibility is that it may be alopecia areata. This is doubtful though since this is normally caused by stress and I dont know too many stressed out 5 yrs olds. If it were alopecia areata then a simple cortisone cream or shot will cure the problem. The only way to know how to treat it is to find out what the cause of the bald spot is and the best place to get a diagnosis is at your doctor or dermatologist. That should be your first step. Please provide additional info: how large is the spot? Is it truly a bald patch or thin? Is there any hair present? Where is the spot located on your head? Is it tension alopecia from braiding? Is it from an injury? Genetic? I may be able to help with this information.
