Catholic tradition period – all Rcc beliefs can be found in the bible, some plainly others indirectly indicated. Scripture itself points out an authoritative church & tradition. St Paul points out in his second letter to the Thess – stand firm & hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or letter. Here are some scriptures to check out 2 Thess 2:15, 1 Cor 11:2, 2 Thess 3:6, 2 Tim 1:13-14 & 2:2. When the first Christians had disagreements they didn’t open their bibles – they didn’t exist – they held councils and held binding decrees – these councils were those who knew more then the others and they came to an agreement/understanding and thus made a binding decree (acts 15:1-29). The very books of the bible were determined by the Church (Rcc) and didn’t even happen until the 4th century – centuries of oral tradition. Without their determination and will to listen to the Holy Spirit, sent by God to inspire them there would be no bible.

The idea of Mary born without original sin is indeed an oral tradition. The idea that she had no need for a savior is not. No tradition, oral or otherwise supports the idea that Mary did not need a savior. Tradition teaches that God is Mary's savior. God just gave her a special blessing where her original sin was dealt with a little earlier than the rest of us. Mary does not save herself, she needs God's salvation just like the rest of us.
The idea of the Mary being born without original sin is called the Immaculate Conception and it tells us more about Jesus than it tells us about Mary. We are told that Jesus was so pure and sinless that he could not have been conceived in the regular way. It had to be a virgin birth, to a person who was without sin. Thus the idea of the Immaculate Conception. It was a necessary environment for the protection of the embryonic development, in the womb, of the divine, the spotless, Jesus.

Mary was chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus for various reasons. 1. She was known to be a virgin. This was a necessity so that there would never be a chance to doubt the the status of the Holy Spirit as the father of Jesus. Then, as now, a virgin was a rarity. Mary was a descendant of King David. So was Joseph. This was necessary, because Jesus had to be a descendant of David to qualify as King of the Jews. 3. Mary had a sin nature and as I have said in this column before, the sin nature, the original sin, is transmitted from the father to the fetus, not from the mother. I am not qualified to give an explanation, but I understand that it has to do with meiosis and polar body. As the father is the sinless Holy Spirit, so then is Jesus.

You don't have it right. Mary did indeed need a Savior, as she herself said (Luke 1:47). However, her Savior chose to save her in a unique way, at the moment of her conception. He saves us all from the effects of original sin, but He saved Mary from the same effects in a unique way because she was to play a unique role in salvation history, the mother of the Savior.
In the very beginning, all Christian teaching had no biblical basis, for the only Bible the early Christians had was the Hebrew Scriptures, which do not contain the teachings of Christ. All they had was oral Tradition, and this Tradition was the Word of God because it was God, in the person of Jesus Christ, Who spoke it to them. Later some of this teaching got written down for various purposes, mostly in the form of personal correspondence. But it did not become the Word of God when it was written down. It was already the Word of God for many years before that. And that is why Scripture (the part of the Word of God that was later written down) and Tradition (the part of the Word of God that was not written but was maintained as the constant teaching of Christ's Church) are equal in authority and can never conflict. the Word of God cannot conflict with itself.

hi, thanks for the question! there remains debate by many Bible students as to the quantity of the flood for the period of Noah's time. some experience the flood change into global, even as others experience it change into an area journey. Beside all this controversy, there is the question you've extra up. Noah's 3 sons were married which means that there have been 4 women human beings also aboard the Ark. in the journey that they were in truth the really people left alive in the global, they nevertheless might want to reproduce by having sex with their cousins, and repopulate the Earth, yet that would not clarify each of the diverse races that exist today. One idea says that human beings were alive on the Ark too. this may encompass different races of people, and the Bible says that one and all sorts of flesh were extra on board the Ark. different students say that the flood change into community, and it truly is the reason we've diverse races of folk. I say that some scientist might want to habit a study to ascertain even if it truly is in any respect achievable for a white human being to furnish a black, yellow, or red epidermis variety race. Or any race generating yet another race except what they're. even if this is not achievable for one race to furnish yet another race, than it would want to practice that there change right into a minimum of another those that survived Noah's flood. this may finish the talk by exclaiming it truly is change into both achievable or not. it would want to also placed an end to the talk about the sixth Day introduction of guy. some Bible students say that Adam (of Adam and Eve recognition) change into created on the 8 Day, and in no way on the sixth. The words Adam and Ah-adam recommend diverse issues. Adam change into the call given to guy in most cases, even as Ah-adam change into the call of the guy human beings call Adam of Adam and Eve. So there is debate on merely what number poeple God easily created some time previous even as. the very truth nevertheless remains that incest change right into a challenge, a minimum of on the time that Moses recieved the comandants from God. i wish this allows.

Mary was a sinner saved by grace just like the rest of us. She needed a savior as well.
Luke 1:46 And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord. and my spirit rejoices in God MY SAVIOR.

YES, another Traditon! NOT based On TRUTH! Nor on the WORD OF GOD..... but on Tradition!
JESUS had the Same Problem.....!
(Mark 7:5-to-9) Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
(Mar 7:6) He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
(Mar 7:7) Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(Mar 7:8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
(Mar 7:9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Thanks, RR
