Most of the more popular fromage frais (yogurts) are sugar laden even those targeted for babies. If you read the label anything more that 5/6g per 100g is too much sugar.
Here's my step by step guide.
1. Buy a pot of low fat natural fomage frais or yoghurt.
2. Buy various fruit of your/ your children's choice
3. Buy very small tupperware
4. Puree the fuit and experiment with combinations.
5. If it tastes tart, sweeten with honey or sugar, you choose.
6. Mix the pureed fruit with the natural fomage frais or yoghurt
7. Pour into you tupperware
8. Voila!! How nutritious is that?
You've purchased low fat and you control the fruit and sugar content. You can even get them involved in choosing the fruit, concocting combinations and mixing it in. Good luck!!

I would think they are all the same, I buy the petit filous fromage frais for mine but it is mega expensive as I have a 5 year old and 18 month old twins! I'm going to have a look next time I go to Tesco but I'll put money on it they all have the same ingredients and I'm just being a muppet spending the extra..........
I've never thought about it before :-)

I personally wouldn't worry too much about it - yes some are organic and have differences. To be honest all fromage frais is better than them eating sweets and it does have some calcium in it so just let them enjoy them.

I go for the Muller little stars one it seems good and low on the rubbish they usually put in there. The petit filous would be my preferance but as someone mentioned it is very expensive.

Yogurt is loaded with sugar. I suggest making yogurt smoothies using plain low fat yogurt and adding your own fruit. Blend it all in a blender.
