there really is nothing you can do about her. Shes most like just going through a phase. No its not weird that your not obsessed like her. Its actually a good thing. Your grades are way more important than any guy. Trust me on this one. I know from way to much experience. You don't need a guy to get along in life. Yea guys are nice and they can be very much fun to have but don't obsess over them. There's plenty of them to go around and one day you'll find your guy.

She seems to want to be a "pop chic". A pop chick is a girl who acts like she only cares about manicures, hot guys, finding a boyfriend, and sex/kissing. She purposly makes her grades drop so she will look like a dumb blonde. She wants to be popular and she needs support. Talk to her about it. Tell her that lately she has been acting like a real d u m b a s s. Tell her that you miss the old her, and the look she is going for will never work. Do a Jessica Simpson impression for her. Now I love Jessica Simpson, and she is not a pop chic, but in most movies she acts in, she is a pop chic. You might think all the things you have to say and do to your friend to stop are mean, but its called tough love. If you do these, she will go back to her normal self and stop trying to be someone she is not.

Puberty does strange things. Its just part of growing up. Let her be who she is, while still finding time to do the same fun things the two of you have done in the past. Your bestfriends, and sometimes you just have to make adjustments in your relationship.

People change for different reasons, like she could be tired of feeling sad because most people she knows has boyfriends and she doesn't.

no. people change when they get to about your age. either you won't be able to stand each other anymore, or she'll mellow out. be her friend if you want, but let her deal with her own problems.
