Every guy I ever go out with, whom I finally think is wonderful, end up being a jerk. I don't understand why? Is it something I do?I mean I dress very conservatively and modestly (you'll HARDLY ever see cleavage-maybe once a year on special occasions), I am also hard to get. I don't go out with a lot of guys. I have only dated 4 guys in my whole life. But in the end of EVERY relationship, and let me stress that these all lasted a month, it turned out the guy just wanted to have sex with me. Please help. What do you think?

You should count yourself beautiful. Many women wonder the exact opposite. I suggest perhaps finding a guy that look more at your face than other areas of your body. Find that sweet, gentle, nice guy and have him take care of you! It may be hard, but you have to date to find him!

Guys aren't exactly logical when it comes to sex. Once our, ahem, south brains get active, we kind of lose our higher brain functions and start thinking about how to get some. Don't take it personally.
I hate to tell you, but most guys - especially if they're teens - have sex on the brain a lot. They may be logically okay with having a platonic relationship, but if you get too close and send the wrong signals, they'll start to wonder if they can't get more after all.
Best thing to do? Get away from him for a few minutes, then come back and change the subject. That gives him some time to settle down again.
If you're looking for a guy who won't do that to you, just try dating more. There ARE guys who'll respect you, and who have control over their bodies. Have you tried going to a church picnic?
If all else fails...wait until after college, when the guys are generally a lot more patient.

THEORY: since you are a nice girl, that's probably why guys want to gent into your pants.
but you know, being hard to get isn't just the thing. maybe u are a flirtacious girl, and you don't even notice? or maybe because guys know u're a virgin, and they want you to remember them being your first. if it keeps happening, just try and avoid it if u have any doubts, period, no harm done there. i don't really know about your situation, but guys don't care if we see you wearing the thickest clothes..we have imaginations you know..but i'm not speaking on behalf of every guys out there, i'm just saying that it's hard for us to not pay attention if there's an attractive woman in front of us. so yea..be yourself.

Because you are a virgin and they want to be the one to TAKE that from you.There are MEN out there that do & would RESPECT YOU FOR THIS.Take your time young lady,keep telling them what your beliefs on remaining a virgin are.If they are a MAN they will respect your wishes,drop the subject & relize that they are with someone special & continue to enjoy the great times they are having with you.If they don't move on,thank GOD that you found out before you lost something that is precious to you.GOOD LUCK & THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE FOR YOU!!

I've had this exact problem with every guy I've ever dated, all they wanted was sex, and it made me feel horrible to think that sex was all i was good for. I felt like **** for a long time, until I met my now fiance who doesn't care about sex. He loves me for me, he doens't care if we have sex, he just wants to be near me. Just wait and the right man for you will come. It may seem like forever, but he'll come when ur at ur lowest point and put u on a pedistle(sp?).

Congratulations . You are finding out about most men's priority in life. Are these all the same type of guys? Date someone different, and don't be in a hurry. There are lots of men out there. Go places with girlfriends.

Well, there weren't enough details there, but if what you say is true, then yeah, most likely it's something you're doing. I'd suggest reading The Rules, it's a pretty good guide to guiding whatever you want out of most men.

its only 4.....so its called a numbers game and it can be incredibly frustrating, but youll have to go through quite a bit of jerks to get to a good one, and any woman will tell you that.
i had the same problem time after time and i stopped dating and became REALLY picky about who i dated....just set your standards a little higher and dont settle....be you and stay true to you. you will find a decent man..i promise ;)

Sweetheart, I think you need a REALITY CHECK!
Why do you think men date women in the first place?
Why do we spend money on you?
Why do we buy you nice stuff?
Why do we take you to expensive restaurants and pay to take you to the movies?
Why do we listen to you and pretend to agree with what you're sayng?
Because we want to have sex with you!!!
If we just wanted somebody to hang out with, we'd hang with our boys!
It's just that simple!
And lots of girls say they'll wait til marriage - but many guys think we can talk you into having sex with us, or at the very least doing sexual stuff for us that stops short of full intercourse! (so you can satisfy us and still tell your momma you're a "virgin")
That's just how it is - get used to it!
