I have never flown this line before; just wondering if you get free alcohol. What about the TV's; does each passenger have the individual screen, or is there just one big screen?

Also, if you have flown BA lately, do they still offer the above amenities?

well good luck with any chance of a Continental flight, continental is garbage. I don't know about you but on my last flight, it was $5 an alcoholic drink, and about the tv's there might be tv only 15% of their flights each month have tv which is all reruns playing over and over for the duration of your flight, there are 2 screens for every 6 rows and it is small only 7 inches so you really should find something to do, but hey, you are lucky your aren't flying american. By the way, British Airways, still gives you more amenities for the green. I flew them 2 weeks ago in Eurotraveller, (economy) and it was the equivalence of Lufthansa business

If you are flying in first class the alcohol is free, if you are flying in coach they are $5.00. As for the TV screens, on most wide body aircraft they have personal televisions at each seat. On the narrow body aircraft they have a screen that comes down from the ceiling and there is a screen about every 3 rows. The smaller commuter aircraft will not have any screens at all. If you are flying on a flight that offers in-flight entertainment, you may purchase headsets that are yours to keep and use on any future Continental flights. They are also $5.00. You may also check out www.continental.com for any questions about a flight you may be traveling. You can find out anything from what type of plane you are flying on and much more. In-flight entertainment rotates out each month so if you are flying multiple times during the month you may get repeats (all depends on where you are flying to and from). I have not flown BA before so I do not know the amenities, however I would think that they to would have a very informative website. Happy Traveling!!

It depends on what class you are in, how long the flight is and what kind of plane. On a short domestic flight there is no personal TV; on longer domestic flights and some international flights there are personal TV's on some (but not all) planes. There is no free alcohol except in First Class. BA is the same. Check the airline website to see what kind of plane you are in, then check http://seatguru.com to see if that plane has personal TV's.

if you are flying to the uk, (I take the ewk to man flight) They have individual consoles that have like 8 different shows and movies on. Alcohol used to be free, but now it is like $4.50 or £3. I am not so sure about the price of the alcohol but it is not free anymore

On some aircraft there are free Personal TeleVisions (PTVs). You can note your aircraft for more information. Alchohol is not free. All other soft drinks, juices, and beverages are free. Check out continental.com for more details.
