I would like to know what volume the standard bottle of wine contains - normal size sold and served in restaurants please?

There is not standard ABV for wine. Even the cheapest blended rubbish can can vary from batch to batch Sugar is fermented to make alcohol, so the more sugar the stronger the result. Grape sugar content depends on climate. Climate varies from place to place and from year to year. This is a big subject but hopefully you are getting the picture!

750 ml. for a full bottle is the Standard size. The standard pour is 5 OZ.

Bottle = 75ml = 6 glasses approx

Ltr = 1000ml = 8 glasses approx
