Heaven isn't a geographic location, like the sky or a distant planet. Its more like a condition or state of being.

Lets say that every person has this energy in them we call the soul. Everything you do, everything you say, every thought that enters your mind goes into the construction of your soul. Then when you die this energy is released. It enters a reality of many dimensions (lets say about 20 dimensions) and your soul is able to transcend time, space and matter.

There your energy (soul) encounters other energies. There you find this huge mass of energy and light comprising many, many souls and at its center is the source (God). You can join your energies with others (heaven) and be in the presence of the source. You can do about anything you want. However, there are those who's soul is not properly prepared to be in the presence of the source and they try to find a dark place, but no place is dark enough or far enough to avoid the love of the source (that is hell).

In Dante's "Paradisio", Hell is in the Earth, Purgatory is on a mountain, and Heaven takes place on the planets. Since his book was based on the Earth-centered universe, you have to remember as he went to each planet, he was going away from the earth. After he had passed the stars, there was a chamber reserved for the most holy ones.

However, Heaven (IMHO), is in a different plane of existence.

A day to God is a thousand years to man according to the bible. The concept of this time zone that God is trapped in can only come from another planet rotating around a sun/ star. So 1 of this (God's) planet will be equivalent to 1000 years of our time.

B.T.W. the Greek word for heaven is "Ouranos" which in English is Orion (the star constellation). God is an extraterrestrial.

At least 3 heavens. The sky, the second heaven where Satan and his fallen angel fell and God's highest heaven.

If i understand right, heaven should be everything once you've got lost of all bonds to earth and humanity.

Itz a bit do answer it, i guess it would be like a gigantic cloud of souls with heavenly music and the ultimate feeling of freedom and love and happyness and stuff like that.

heaven is not a world like this - it 's another rhealm. one can't fully explain it as we do the earth the stars, sun, planets and such - it's not a tangible item that can be touched - i wish it could be but it's not.
