Obviously, alcohol dehydrates you... but I'm not sure what the answer is.

You most assuredly get dehydrated. Alcohol is a diuretic and that is why you pee so much when you drink it. There are supplements that can counter some of the effects of dehydration that come with drinking. (and ultimately your hangover) Look them up on a search engine, and stay hydrated!! LOL

its all an elaborate plan by your college guidance counselors, parents, police officers, nutritionists, doctors, nurses, attorneys, etc.
In reality, alcohol not only hydrates you, but it also makes you smarter, gets you really hot women to hang out with, improves memory, increases likelihood of winning the lottery, makes you more well liked, causes your favorite football team to win the super bowl, makes your enemies all get the clap, is responsible for every good video game ever, and might just solve world peace...actually getting of oil and on to ethanol...that might actually be true about the whole world peace thing.

Anyway, yes. It dehydrates you. But if you haven't had a real honest to goodness hangover...i feel sorry for you.

Dehydrates you because after all it will flush out your kidneys. To help get hydrated get Gatorade or other good fluids and juice. Water is the best. If a person can not drink anything else then coke or ginger ale is good.

dehydration. if you drink, have some water as a chaser. you'll feel better the next day and the long-term damage is lessened. alcohol is a blessing, but not if used improperly.
