the normal highest male voice is called tenor, but they can get higher- in a female range, and we call those counter-tenors.

The normal male vocal range goes from bass to contralto but there are exceptions. I have a friend who is male and has a lovely soprano.

i personally have 4 or 5 octaves, and range from low bass, to HIGH soprano.
It depends on the guy, and how much he works at it.

I'm not exactly sure, because when they get into falsetto they can get up there. My cousin is a tenor and he can hit E (like middle c, d, e, f, g, a, b, c, d, E) without going into falsetto.
