The same way a heterosexual does not give in to his immoral tendencies. Practice a life of purity, chastity, and temperance.
But the way, Christianity does not teach that a person with a homosexual tendency goes to hell. Its only those who endorse it, and encourage others to do so that are condemned.

Many homosexuals in Corinthians in the new testament in the bible were cleansed of their evil deeds and lived a new life.Also many present CHRISTians who turned to GOD were changed!You know if anyone is in CHRIST he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.Meaning only through JESUS CHRIST you can truly overcome or not give in to your homosexual tendencies.
