Unless the toddler is physically between your arms and you are holding him, yes! Bathtubs are one of the top causes of injury and death with children. Letting kids play in the bathtub while standing can cause them to slip, fall or break a bone in the blink of an eye.

YES...it is very dangerous. My daughter is also a child who wants to stand in the tub and I constantly telling her to sit down. She had a very bad fall about a month ago, she slipped and fell onto the facet, she had a goose egg on her forehead and a cut on her cheek. I felt horrible but it all happened so fast and I "was right there". The tub is wet and slippery and even though I was there, it seem to happen in a split second. It scared her enough that she no longer stands in the tub but a hard lesson to learn. I felt so bad.

It is very dangerous, please try to get your toddler to stay sitting while in the tub, I know it is hard but for safety reasons it is best.

I always make sure my toddler is sitting in the tub... and I am always right there when my kids are in the bath. They are just more prone to slipping since they have a lack of balancing skills. The risks of head injury are too great.

it truly is an element maximum youthful ones go by way of. regrettably, the in consumer-friendly words thanks to get round it really is to sit down them down anytime they upward push up, and this is going without saying, yet by no ability ever go away them on my own even for a minute even as contained in the bathtub. yet in case you keep sitting them down accurate this second and tell them firmly "No status up!" anytime, they are going to finally learn. Your in consumer-friendly words different option is a bathtub seat for little ones/little ones. i'm talking of the hoop style, that they sit down up in and it suctions to the bottom of the bathtub. in spite of the undeniable fact that, at 18 mos, they're about waiting to outgrow this in the experience that they have got not already. also, they could probably protest in the experience that they are not used to being tied down contained in the bathtub. Freedom to sit down on my own is more effective useful than no freedom in any respect! LOL also, you'll probably finally end up repeating this training procedure later on even as the inevitable occurs and they DO formally advance out of it.

Absolutely! It's dangerous for adults to stand up in the tib. Why the h-ll do you think they have non-slip frips for tubs?

I feel it is yes. It only takes a second to slip and hit the head, nose, ear and so on. Why take the chance, our reflexes just aren't that quick.

it could be dangerous, it is really slippery and they could fall and bang their fragile heads. but as long as you hold both of their hands it will be ok.
