No. That would probably seal it closed, but it would prevent it from permanently healing, result in more of a scar, and increase the risk of infection. You should flush it with water and peroxide and hold it closed with a butterfly bandage. If it isn't healing closed or bleeding will not stop than you need medical attention.

No, it does not. Some stores carry special "glue" for cuts like that. Crazy Glue will set up down inside your skin and could cause a very bad infection. Don't use it for medicinal purposes.

Although crazy glue is a cyanoacrylate, and cyanoarylates are used in medical procedures, crazy glue probably has other excipients which are not meant for medical use. I would not use crazy glue.

A deep cut may need stitches. You should consult your MD before using crazy glue on yourself.

What?!?! Don't do that...get a butterfly bandaid and use that instead. It will pull the skin together so it can heal. If it's bad enough, get stitches. Glue won't allow your skin to heal or it will heal over the glue giving you more problems than you have right now.

Try a liquid bandage... Crazy glue is a chemical.... and it will burn. Liquid Band-Aid is good and it's made for cuts and scraps. It will also keep it water proof and free and clear of germs.

Well it must be cuz I cut my fingers to the bone and well instead of giving me stitches the doctor superglued them together and well the jerk still charged my insurance for stitches.

Claims that they were liquid stitches.

It was put over the top of my cuts once they were pinched together.

I've used it before, BUT, it makes a hard spot and it dries and gets sore. I wouldn't try it for a deep deep cut though, it'll burn and may cause infection. Go to the hospital, you may need stitches and caused by metal, you may need a tec. shot.
