I've never been to a petco before and today my roommate and I were thinking of going. We've seen on the commercials owners and their pets walking in left and right, but we were wondering if they really let you do that?

Oh Yes!!! I take my Shih Tzu in there all the time, and he loves it! Just make sure that you have your dog on a leash and under control. They even have little treats when you go to the registers.

You can generally take your pet into any pet store. Petco, Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, and I'm sure there's a lot more I don't know the name of. Just make sure your pet has all of it's shot up to date, so he/she isn't exposed to anything that will harm them (parvo, rabies, etc..) they must also be on a leash.

Yes you can as long as the humans are on a leash attached to the dog. Petsmart lets the dogs do it too. Also on the way out of both stores you should get a doggie biscuit.

Yeah, I go to the Petco all the time to look at the animals (mainly the cute kittens that you can adopt) and people bring their pets in with them.

For sure. It's an animal friendly store. Most of them have a vet and a grooming area as well as classes for owners and pets. Go you'll have a blast!

Of course! As long as your dog is on a leash everything is fine. And, if your dog has an 'accident' in the store, there are paper towels and bags in the aisles just in case of an emergency.

Bring them on a leash!
They love it, loads of fun.
Be prepared though, it is like taking a kid in a candy store and you're gonna have to get the little guy some goodies!

ABSOLUTELY!!!
I take mine with me all the time. They do ask that you keep them on a leash (smaller dogs can be put in the cart if you wish). You can bring your cat to if you like.
Petsmart also allows animals in the store.
I let mine go down the toy isle when we go and pick out a new toy.

hi this is ralph the dog my dad lets me use his puter sometimes i wanted to tell you that i can go inside the pet store it is not petco a local chain just as good anyway i LOVE to go there it is my second favorit place next to the park there is so much to smell and ineresting animals andpeople and they give me a treat and i always make new friends i LOVE it so take ur dog there Ralph

AS long as you have your dog on a leash,and under control around other animals, you certainly can. Also you need to clean up after them if they have an accident. They have the towels etc. for you to do this.
