my dog tore up some dollars can i still use it

Depending on the condition of the bills, you can tape it together, and use it, or take it to a bank and trade it in. As long as you have both serial numbers for each bill, the bank will give you full value. The Treasury Department has a bureau where people actually piece together money, and authorize refunds. They will handle everything except ashes.

on each bill there are numbers on the lower left side and the upper right side. If those numbers havent been torn apart and you can still read them then the bank will give you a new bill in place of the ones you got torn apart. I was mowing a lawn one time and I found a twenty dollar bill that was torn right down the middle. It was inside of a old cig pack. I took it the my bank and thats when i found out about that.

if you have both halfs with th serial numbers on both sides take it to the bank they will trade them for you and the wrecked money will be taken out of circulation.

Make sure you have coinciding serial numbers and any bank should exchange them for you.

you can take it to the bank and they will give you money to replace it and my dog was train to take my money to any one l tell him to, that's in the house, and he will do that. l hope he never chew my money. but yes the bank will replace it.

If you sotch tape it back togeather as long as the serial numbers are there.
