Its kind of like a heat pad, whcih can also be said as a non-living brooder. It gives the same heat to the egg as the parents do.

I think incubator is a container that keeps fertilized egg warm until the poor small bird gets out of the egg.

u can buy them

they shouldnt cost too much for one egg.. call a bird store

or u could make one but u have to make sure u are montoring the temperature --heres the site to build one

its a machine that warms eggs at the right temperature until they hatch. like in the case that the mother of the eggs died or if someone just wants to hand raise them.
