You aren't ethnocentric, you egocentric, What do you mean with your own culture? Didn't you know that US is base in different cultures and that what's give us our cultural richness? For your info all the people who are living in US right now are all immigrants descendants, no body in here is native, except the American Indian and Mexicans in the south and east, like in Texas, New Mexico and California. The violation of the law is seen in every ethnic group, DNA has nothing to do with the tendency to obey or disobey the law. DNA only provides the genetic info that determines the physical look of a subject. Behavior is a learned conduct for an specific subject and is based on the experience and the learning of that individual, perhaps is also based in the decisions made for the subject, who will make decisions based in the experience accumulated during that period of life. So as you can see my friend we have to learn how to live with it and the best way to change certain behaviors is teaching our young ones better to have a better future inside this society. You should read a little bit more to avoid this kind of mistakes that contributes nothing good to our society and to avoid the spreading of wrongful ideas and with no real bases to be. Being is the wrong word. It has been invaded. To the tune of more than 15 million. In my city the numbers have grown 50 fold since 1996 and the number of police reports involving the invaders have gone up appropriately.

The answer has nothing to do with racism. We are being invaded and it has nothing to do with skin color. There is a unique American culture and it is worth preserving. It is being inundated with lesser morals and ethics of people from other countries.

I'm sure there are folks who think in a moral relativistic fashion who believe all morals are good morals, but it is not true.

When I worked insurance claims for a number of years I became racially prejudiced at first because it seemed the most dishonest people were non-whites. When I promoted to a field position and began to meet some of these people, I began to realize that it's not race or skin color, it's country of origin. The Russians were the best at being conniving and ruthlessly dishonest, and they were white! People from the middle east or Asia are also blatantly dishonest. Ironically, people from Africa are not, but Americans of African descent are!

I concluded that it is a question of upbringing. Unfortunately, what is really destroying the American culture is the public schools because they have taken it upon themselves to supplant parenthood in the instilling of morals on our youth today, and they're doing the worst job imaginable.
