Yes, a race is defined as "class or kind of people unified by shared interests, habits, or characteristics" (by websters, similar by others) and so there really is no difference.

Why do it? The same reasons why people practice racism against colour, nationality, etc... the answer isn't so easy and I imagine different people have different reasons. My own theory is that these people are insecure about their own beliefs and feel better about it by putting down others.

If you look up the definition of racism then every ones correct answer should be no. It's not a form of racism based on what racism actually means..

But I would say it still falls under ignorance. People are ignorant and intolerable of things they do not understand or can not accept.

It basically falls under is it right or wrong. Even if you don't agree or believe in something someone else does they should be given the respect to believe how they want to.

no its a strategy, that is fed by propaganda
with a specific design and has been going on for 6000 years

cultural hate is the whole point of having religions that is why religions exist ,they were invented to realise the concept of Divide and Rule
break people up into different cultures and then make them hate each other ,enough so that they will have war.
,this way they can be controlled easier and money can be made on the conflicts

this is what the story of the tower of Babel was about
the beginnings of the illuminati strategy OF DIVIDE AND RULE ,All organized religion came from Babylon ,from the same council, from the same people

Well, since racism is shortly defined as the intentional or unintentional benefit of privilege of one race over another, and "bashing religions" is really just trash-talking about a group who thinks differently from you... no, they're nothing alike.

If some extremist fundamentalist Muslims want to bash the extremist fundamentlist Christians we have here, that has nothing to do with the fact that their races are different.

Absolutely not. Religions are not people. Religions are claims about the world. As such they are either the truth or else they are lies. If they are lies, then they should be bashed. One should not encourage lies which cause hate and suffering just to be polite. That is how groups such as the Nazi's flourished. One needs to stand up against evil wherever one finds it.
