Airports have a three letter code or abreviation. Usually those cites let you type in the whole name of the airport or city OR let you type in the code.... I would guess the code for those two airports would be CAL and VAN... but it might be something else, if some other airport already had those codes.... The code is used on the tags they put on your luggage as well....
so, you shouldnt have to have the code if you have the city....and when you type in the city...they will probably give you the code after you hit enter

Vancouver is YVR.
Calgary is YYC.
