yes years I ago I was sick and slept for days and then one day I awoke and was sitting up and looking down at my body....it freaked me out ....I wont forget it

Weird stuff used to happen to me as a child. I used to find myself up in the corner of the room by the ceiling, looking down at my bed and at myself sleeping. I would see myself moving around a little and I could sort of feel the movement even though I thought I was in the corner of the room. I don't know what that was, I assume it was some type of dream which I don't have anymore. I also used to stare at things while trying to fall asleep until I got a weird feeling of being sucked out of my body, it felt like floating. Now I think that maybe I was somehow hypnotizing myself.
I was also a crazy sleepwalker (every night) and I had tons of nonsense conversations with my mom while I was asleep. Because of that, a number of my childhood memories are confusing since I can't tell if things really happened or not since I was sleepwalking.

Yes, although most happened between ages 10-28, most started out much like Pico said about floating around the ceiling area. Great fun. Later ones have been rare in occuring and seem to be outside or almost outside.

Sort of, but it's a natural phenomenon. Use google to read up on "sleep paralysis".
It's spooky feeling when it happens, but it's nothing paranormal.

Yes. As a part of my spiritual path, I have learned to have them at will. It just takes practice and patience.
