If I didn't tell my children The Truth about God then they would grow up falling for anything and end up like you. Our Heavenly Father does not want that for any of us and no other loving parent should either.

May God Bless you.

I'm actually on the same page as you, theoretically. Still, it's hard to call beliefs that people hold with every ounce of their beings "dumb." They might seem awfully strange or dellusional to us, but that makes them no less real to those people.

Every parent should want their children to learn everything they possibly can about everything they possibly can, so as to make informed, knowledgable decisions about the world on their own. Forcing their children to learn about the God myth is fine, it's their culture. However, forcing them to BELIEVE it is a different story.

I believe the Bible! I see no evidence that it is wrong. When people think it is, the evidence comes back around. Of course I teach my children the truth.

Try explaining DNA chromosomes etc to a child and they would not have a clue what you are talking about. GOD gave it in simple terms so we could understand without being scientific etc

they tell it to their children at a young age so it sticks with them, they wont at an older age because they have a mind of their own and thats when influentiality starts to decline as a parent. in other words they brainwash at an early age so theres no difficulty doing it at an age where you would reject it
