How do you guys feel about Left Behind: Christian Forces?

"Earlier this week, The Council on American-Islamic Relations asked Wal-Mart to stop carrying the game, saying that it promotes religious violence and 'may harm interfaith relations.'"

For one, the Council wasted its time asking Wal-mart to stop carying the game. They're not going to stop carying it just beacuse they asked them to. The game also is NOT going to harm interfaith relations. "OMG you have an anti-Christian game! We hate you!" That's not going to happen. It's a game. A GAME.

There's no reason to get upset about it. If people are going to play it, they're probably not very religious. If you don't agree with the game, just don't buy it. Sure you can protest and all that, but the game isn't violating any law, so nothing is being done that's wrong.

It is a great game for Christians because they get it. It will succeed because parents don't mind puring money into the kingdom, but like all first attempts it will be so so on quality. All the best to them - a game is a game. A little controversy won't hurt sales either.

I find anything that uses religion to get money off people is evil...and purely evil at that.

am no Christian..but I do know for a fact that Jesus did not incorporate the use of religious feelings to harness money out of people.

I say again..its rotten..and bad.

The game in itself is poor in taste.

when you strip spirituality from a religion...youre building a bomb thats ready to explode...and we all have a duty to stop people from doing that.

Stop making Muslims look bad, many prominent Christians complained about the game as well because that's not how Christians behave.

I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it...

Is basically my position. I don't know much about the game, I'll admit, but as long as it isn't one of those indoctrination types that will harm people or cause harm to people in the future, it is their right to sell it.

It is just another game. kids will not be converted to Christianity by playing the game any more than they will go out and deal drugs by playing a game about that.

Its ERSB rating is "T" for Teen. Wal-Mart isn't going to stop selling it. GameSpot says it's not a great game anyway.
