I have been watching ESPN classic alot recently and they have been showing his fights. I am not really familiar with many boxers, but I like this guy's style.

Yeah I noticed he does have quite a few losses. I also notice his body work, he really punishes his opponents.

He is an excellent fighter and don't let his record fool you. He takes fights on a days notice sometimes and is always fighting on other fighters home turfs. Fights all over the world and doesn't back down from anyone. I place him right up there with Arturo Ghatti and Micky Ward as a crowd pleasing fighter infact I think his bout with Mickey Ward was a fight of the year. I have seen him lose many fights by bad decisions that he CLEARLY won. He even put up a good fight against Floyd Mayweather I hear. I don't approve of his Marijuana smoking but that doesn't detract from his in ring skills and entertainment value. HE is in my top 15 favorite fighters of the early 2000's. Like Ghatti he never won the big step up fight though. Not sure why he changed his name from Burton to Augustus either.

Great skill, great showmanship.............but that's his problem. He has good power, decent handspeed and knows how to box as well as brawl. But I know for a fact he has a lot of losses on his record that he would not have had he boxed the opponent rather than trying to please the crowd with a brawl. He is getting up in age and with the losses on his record, Im not sure that he will ever get the chance to maximize his potential. Great to watch though. I box myself and take notes from him. His straight to the body is awesome.

Show boat with alot of losses. He is a good boxer though. Greatly under rated and is a great body puncher. He lost alot of disputed decisions due to his show boat tactics.

that dude is the truth!! but he dont get much love he beat ward bad but he was in ward backyard. he always getting robbed because he's making boxing different then the regular.
i've seen at least 6 to 7 fights he was robbed. its always a old white dude thats saying be professional. and i'm not racist its just the same as basketball in the 20's o we dont want no ****** ball or football we dont need know ****** changen are good "american game" remeber that or we can just play like that aint what really happened. they dont like him beating up dudes and makeing fun of them i like it it makes me not think about how crooked boxing is like tyson vs dougals when dougals was out for 18 seconds and tyson was drugged or tito losing or rocky mariciano lies.... anyway boxing is great and i'm glad to be a fighter.
