I would describe my relationship with Christ as alive and real. The spiritual aspects work themselves out in my everyday life, in all I think, do and say. If I feel a distance from Him, I reevaluate what I am doing or thinking. I find my will is now to do His will. I talk with Him and read His word to know and learn more. I guess you could call it "abiding" in Him, living my life by the truth of His word and the Holy Spirit that dwells within me. I find His presence very real, and that His mercies are new every morning. You sense the joy and love in your heart. I find that the joy of the Lord is my strength.
There is a power, His great love, that seems to well up from our innermost being, and is usually directed out, away from ourselves, to show His love and do His will toward others. We are just vessels that overflow. If we try holding on to it for ourselves, it stagnates, and loses its glory. It's all about Him, our amazing and awesome God, and not about us. We, in this sense, are bond servants. Forgiven and bought by the blood of Christ. I personally seen just the mention of His name do wonderful and powerful things to and for other people.
This is our purpose, why we were made. We are only whole and complete when we invite Christ to come in and become our Lord as well as our Savior. He inhabits the praises of His people, and this is why worship and fellowship are important. It's when the body realizes who they are in Christ, identified in Him, that He works not only in the individuals life, but they become the light the world can see. We can do all things through Christ. My wife told me of an acronym for joy.. Jesus, Others, Yourself. Put the priorty in this order, and great things happen, and you find joy in your journey.

Personal to answer the question.
What makes it real?
Genuine?
Alive?
Prayer and Faith. The Holy Spirit
How do you keep it that way? You continuously pray. You continuously keep your eyes on Jesus. I sin, everyone does. However if you are always in the spirit then you will recognize the sin quicker and repent to change it.
God Bless

really good.
whenever something doesnt turn out the way i thought it would or i wanted it to i have faith and he gives me something even better!
Christ is my best friend and he is there for me and is always with me no matter what I am doing. He is the reason I keep holding on, and I pray to him for others that haven't found his love yet. I am a born again Christian and because of my faith I am always happy. When things go wrong, which they often do, my faith in Christ improves them.

Well, first off before I answer this, I hope you don't get any answers where people would say something they shouldn't or that they don't believe in God.
But, my relationship with Christ.... I pray whenever I'm in need and then I pray after that comes true and I thank him and I try to pray every night. And I try to go by the 10 commandments as much as I can or do the wwjd thing.

Don't have one as I don't believe Christ was the son of God. The whole tale of Christ is just so much to believe, stop and think about it!

Close.
I do not blame or judge...I use Christ as the mediator between me and the rest of the community so I may become a beter member of that community...
I do not use my faith as a way to make myself look better or be more profitable...or more socially acceptable.

It doesn't really matter what title someone else applies to your beliefs. All that matters is that they are yours. Titles are unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

We are friends. Talking everyday helps. Also accepting He is the smart one is a good idea.
