I'd like to start by saying "chalk it up to hormones", but I'd be making light of your situation. Most of his behavior is about domination. If you are noticing it now, it will only get worse as your relationship progresses. He is most likely holding back as much as he can right now, but in the future his behavior will escalate.
If you haven't had sex or talked about it yet, that will be another factor/point where things will get worse, too.
If you really like this guy, the best thing for you to do now, is to discuss these things with him and let him know that you are not comfortable with them, and that if things continue, then the two of you will not have a future together. If he cannot respect the way you feel now, he never will.
If you have any doubts about where he is headed, watch Animal Planet for a while. (Not a great source, I realize, but the similarities between humans and animals when it comes to relationships is hard to miss).
In any case, I'd like to wish you the best of luck. You'll need that and some strength to work through this, he'll need it and some patience.

Obviously you are uncomfortable with his behavior and that should be enough to put up a red flag for you.
He sounds controlling... if you are asking for opinions you are just trying to justify the feelings you are having.
You do not need to justify your feelings; if you are uncomfortable with the way he treats you then tell him. If he doesn't stop then end it now.
I might add that 17 year old boys are lead by one thing and one thing only... you know what it is. You are both young, don't start a pattern of doubting yourself and/or staying in unhealthy relationships so young.

He is trying to be the dominant partner in your relationship which isn't that uncommon for guys. It is usually caused by their low self-esteem. The problem he has with you talking to other guys is a symptom of that as well. However, the aggressive kissing and pinning you down need to be addressed. Letting this kind of behavior go without stopping it will only lead to more aggressive behavior later.

I think you really ought to be careful with this guy of yours because he seems to be very controlling. All of these things he does are things a man does when he feels the need to be in control. He feels that he's bigger than you and perhaps you are smaller than him (rather than equal or larger than him). Be careful! If any arguments come up, he'll definately try to win them, which isn't healthy. And it also seems like you're losing your control in your relationship. My advice to you is to talk to your boyfriend about being a bit more sensitive with you, rather than so tough and rough, and for him to treat you as his equal, rather than looking down upon you when talking to you.

I think you have one dominating bf there Ashley. Either learn to enjoy it, some people like dominance in the bedroom (as long as it is only confined to the bedroom and he is not trying to dominate every aspect of your relationship) or tell him you don't like it and if he doesn't stop then leave.

I think he really likes you, but he's kind of horny and can't wait to "do stuff" with you. I think you need to just tell him to give you some space. He obviously really likes you, and just wants to be around you. You're lucky to have a really commited guy. Good luck.

him standing in front of you is a way of intimidation (subconscious, but still), he seems to be a very possesive type of person. I'd go really slow in this relationship.
