I am a boy in 6th grade, and I really think I like this girl in most of my classes. We have a lot in common (we both play the same sports) but we haven't ever talked. I am used to girls asking me out with notes in 5th grade, but I don't think she will come to me or even know if I like her.
What do I say to ask her out?
Don't post answers like "ask her to a movie" please.

We both play laccrosse and soccer, is this a good thing or creepy, it got me attracted to her.

When should we start holding hands, hugging after school, and just stuff like that?

I've found middle school relationships are harder than elementery...

i think that you definatly should go for it. say that you wondered if she was free some time, bcos you'd like to meet up, doesnt have to be fancy. a movie is a bad idea for a first date as you cant talk, restaraunts are too posh and formal so i think you should just go to a park or for a walk in a feild near to ur house or something, its romantic, quiet, casual and will give you two the perfect chance toget to know her. good luck!

Just say, "Could we spend some time together?"....and then suggest a simple activity you can both enjoy. You might attend a sports event at school or just go for a coke at the local 'middle school hot-spot'. It doesn't have to be a big production on the first 'date'. In fact, you will both be more comfortable if you are 'together' but in a group. Then if the two of you really hit it off you can suggest something a little nicer for next weekend, such as a lunch date on Saturday and then a play or concert in the afternoon. The night dates should be saved for when you are both older.

Before you ask her out you need to first talk with her. Talk about the sports you are interested to start the conversation going. Girls like to talk for some reason so be sure to listen. Heck even if it is boring talk just look into her eyes while she is talking and nod your head every now and then to make it seem like you are interested on that subject. Also be yourself and some humor goes a long way.

First thing to do is find a reason to talk to her like i lost my notes for a class and could i get a copy from you. Talk to some of her friends. Most friends can and will give out information's about each other so use that information to find things to talk about. Talking to each other is step 1. Slowly work the talk to more personal thing like does she date. What does she like. You can start the talk first as i said as for notes for a class

Well I'm a senior in high school so i was there a long time ago. I would ask her out. When girls mature and get older we learn that the girls are not supposed to ask the guys out. not even in notes. so ask her out! thats probably what she is waiting for!

oh, to be young and all atwitter about the girls...they really put the butterflys in this lad's tummy, lemme tell u. especially if they were cute and i liked them and wanted them to like me (then i did silly show off boy stuff to try to impress them) you know what will really get her attention? stop her when no one else is around and tell her how cool you think she is. just that and no more,...then later (like the next day or next week) you can ask her out to a movie or for a hamburger or something (do kids still do that?).

First you should talk to her. I sat next to a guy who asked me out. Then, after you get to be friends. You can maybe start firting. After that, if she likes you you can totally tell. When you get this far, asking her out isn't hard. Sometimes it just comes to you.

Well, I reckon you should perhaps talk to her at sport practice or something and just try and become more friendly with her. Become her friend and just become closer and see how things go
If things develop for you Ask her out for lunch or something!
Goodluck!
