Kammy, your neice came to you in confidence and told you something that is very personal about her. It is hard enough being 15 but to be bisexual on top of it compounds her life. Keep her conversation between the two of you and tell no one. Absolutely no one. Do not tell your husband or anyone. Please don't betray your neice. She will tell her mother in her own time. As long as her mother doesn't push and is available for her, you neice will talk to her but she has to do it her own way. Keep her secret.

don't tell your sister; that would betray your niece. it's not like she told you something life-threatening.
just be supportive & encourage her to talk to her mother, if you think that's best.
she's still the same person; it shouldn't even matter, unless she needs support b/c she's having a difficult time accepting herself.

the mother should really hear it from the 15 year old and not from you. imagine how she would feel after you told her mother? i'd feel betrayed, cause i trusted you to not tell anyone. i say just give her some time and she will eventually tell her mom when she's ready.

I think that is something your niece should tell her mom. Let your niece know that if she ever does want to tell her mom, that you will be with her when she does. If it was a life or death situation, or she was doing drugs or something like that, then you should tell. It is her responsibility and she (your niece) should have that right to tell who she wants.

No it should be her place and it is her right to disclose it to whom ever she wants to being 15 she has alot of emotions and everything else to deal with, when she is ready she will do it, support her when shw does, though, if she felt comfortable enogh to tell you, she may need to added support

You need not be in a hurry.Help your niece and instill courage in her and let her speak herself. That would be much better than you telling.

No i don't think that u shpuld tell ur sister. she felt comfortable enough 2 come to u so dont break that bond. it's good to no that she can come to an adult, family member (you) with it. She could have gone to a total stranger n they mislead her totally.

I say no, do not interfere. You might cause some family strife if you do. Let the girl tell her mother when she is comfortable.

So, if I am understanidng you. sometimes you feel one way and then another. Sort of the way she feels. At fifteen,I think you should support her, and keep your mouth shut otherwise. If she is to be outed to her mother, let her do it.
