like whenever i look at a necklace my ex gave me i get the feeling of summer(cuz he gave it to me during or close to the summer) and of how i felt when i got it.

their is one shining star in the sky that is always their so every time i see it i remember my boyfriend because he named it after me and he he gave me the papers just before we go to see the movie a walk to remember when Shane west gave Mandy Moore the papers and tell her that he named a star after her and the thing that surprised me that was the first time the movie is in the theater so how did he do it ?

I cannot smell Ralph Lauren Romance for Men because it brings back memories of an ex. We were on a road trip to New York from Atlanta to get his belongings as we were going to move in together. We got into an accident on the way and all of my stuff was scattered all over the highway. I had just bought him some Romance and it shattered all over the road. We broke up before we made it to New York and I never spoke to him again. Needless to say if I smell that cologne it makes me cry.

It's said that the sense of smell is one of the strongest memory triggers, and I believe that. Every time I make coffee, I always take a deep whiff of the coffee because it reminds me of when I was little and used to make coffee for my parents, both now deceased. For just a moment, it brings me back to those mornings when I was a child, and it does it every time. wonderful.

Every once in a while I hear a door slam that sounds like the door that was to the back porch of the house where I grew up. When I hear that sound, I instantly transfer myself back to those wonderful days of coming through that door, while it slammed behind, and into our kitchen where something good was always cooking. It reminds me of my great childhood.

I went on a really awesome vacation to Vermont this summer, and whenever I see my bike it makes me think of it because we rode everywhere there. Also, the smell of baking food reminds me of my grandparents because my grandmother always has something cooking up.

when ever i think of my knife brings back summer, and when ever i go to "the water" (a place we ALWAYS went) i think of the summer and how awesome it was.
- also many other things.. but i have put them away to not remember. its sad that the summer is neva coming back

There is this road I have to walk down to get to my house everyday and eachtime I walk down it I smile and remember back to when Me and My Bf Walked down it together :)

the smell of Malizia.... its an italian mens perfume that my husband wears. he goes on long business trips and sometimes if i miss him i keep one of his shirts on my pillow to smell his perfume. it makes me smile and think of him. makes me feel close to him even if he is far away.
